My updated thoughts and impressions on the final version of the Quatryl Blinkblade starting character class for Frosthaven. I think the synergy with Blinkblade and Banner Spear is definitely fair, though! Gloomhaven, Jaws of the Lion, and Frosthaven are cooperative games of tactical combat, battling monsters and advancing a player's own individual goals in a persistent and changing world that is played over many game sessions. And 1 more for every negative card. Despite being a tester, I'm also incredibly excited to get my copy and be able to properly start. I’m currently trying Blinkblade and Deathwalker solo with starting items at Level 2, and it’s definitely tough. The guide was made with only level 1 cards to respect those who want to keep the level up cards. Sage LOVES blink blade builds but finds them incredibly hard to pull off in D&D, especially at low levels. Q1: Can it be triggered multiple times per move? if so, combining it with Double Time (fast things happen twice) could give infinite moves right? Q2: the blinkblade's hex is not adjacent to him, so a move onto the blinkblade's hex gives +1 move right.
