I have been following this whole absurd exercise since I was 12 years old when I read Ages in Chaos, and Worlds in Collision. On this occasion he came across an Egyptian papyrus which described events that were surprisingly similar to the book. After the publication of Worlds in Collision Immanuel Velikovsky was confronted with the argument that in the shape of the earth and in the flora and fauna there are no traces of the natural catastrophes he had described.
