Some skills are really expensive some not so much, you could have a lv30 crew with very important skills trained and a lv50 one with nothing useful on it. The T114 looks like it is straight from a science fiction movie, or from a crazy professor's basement. . As for you not being able to one shot it depends on your tank too and the ammunition it has access to.
